Who we are

We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Felix Walter is President of the board of directors and has been a partner of Ecoplan since 1988. His focus is on economic, financial and environmental policy as well as on the support and moderation of complex processes. He studied economics, business administration and constitutional law at the University of Berne, graduating with a licentiate in 1988. At the same time he was an editor at a local radio station and at Radio DRS. From 1995 to 2001, he headed the National Research Programme Transport and Environment (NRP 41).
